More than 100 firefighters, policemen and
ambulance technicians gathered at the Cathedral in Gaspé on
September 23 to pay homage to the hundreds of rescue workers
killed when the twin towers of the World Trade Centre collapsed
on September 11.

Beach Port in Gaspé is not happy about the Quebec
government's proposal to acquire the maritime facility from the
federal government.

for the Mouvement Desjardins in the Lower St. Lawrence, Gaspé
Peninsula and Magdalen Islands, is still confident that the
financial institution will ceate a provincial management center
for student loans in Maria.
