How to do the Visual Basic Assignments

Use the following methods to help you do the assignments:
Read the textbook pages that correspond to the assignment.
Print out and read all the material I have put up on the Internet that relate to the assignment you are doing. I describe in detail what has to be done on the assignment page. This will help a lot.
Do the step by step exercise that corresponds to the assignment. Save or print the program that is created in the exercise so that you can refer to it later.
Try the assignment. To solve problems, look in the book, look at my Internet notes, check online help, or look at the program code from the exercise.
If you still have problems, ask other students that have finished the work, or one of your teachers that understands the material.
If you still can't do the assignment, email me. If you want you can meet me on ICQ chat or teamwave to help iron out particularly stubborn problems. My email address is ronpat@globetrotter.net
Finally, if all the above fail, send me a copy of your program. I will look at it, point our the problem and send it back.
