We are saddened by the passing away on Sunday, April 27th, 2008, at the
Gaspe Sanatorium, of my 105 year old aunt Daisy Davis-Patterson. Having travelled to Gaspe from Halifax, N.S., this past March, we are grateful to have had the opportunity of visiting her twice during our stay. Aunt Daisy was still very alert, recognized us and even carried out a good conversation with us. At her age, and being concerned with her attire, she made sure, the day being a Sunday, that she had her brooch pinned on and her hair was well combed and set. Aunt Daisy had a good life and we will miss her greatly. S. |
