First, let me say what a wonderful community Gaspe must be, and I am so thankful for this generous site, which offers access to a wealth of history. I am researching my father's family, who settled in the area as far back as the 1700s from Ireland. The surname is SUTTON, and the descendants are from the GEORGE SUTTON line. Thank you.
